Diesel particulate filter cleaning for buses
To the complete satisfaction of customers, a five-digit number of filters were cleaned using this process.
The group of companies “FilterMaster DPF” cleans bus filters using the mycon cleaning process “FilterMaster for trucks and more”. The process has been successfully used in Germany and Denmark for about 6 years, and since 2014 also in Holland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and, most recently, Turkey. To the complete satisfaction of customers, a five-digit number of filters were cleaned using this process. It relates to the cleaning of OE installed systems and retrofitted soot filters. FilterMaster for trucks and more cleans filters of all designs, sizes and materials. This applies to all types of ceramics and also to filters made of stainless steel sintered metal. The use of a steam jet for cleaning purposes is not recommended under any circumstances. Cleaning is incomplete, there is also the risk that the filter will be damaged. In addition, the wastewater should never reach the drain but must be subject to special disposal. Self-cleaning by means of steam jet is therefore not recommended, not just from an industrial safety perspective. With regard to disposal costs and potential damage to the filter, this cleaning is also in no way economical.
