FilterMaster DPF – the cooperative association for particulate filter cleaning

FilterMaster DPF is a brand of mycon GmbH and the cooperative association for separation-free filter cleaning.

 The aim of the cooperative association is to serve the rapidly growing market for exhaust particulate filters for vehicles and engines of every design and size both economically and to the highest quality worldwide. The precondition for this is the application of new gentle and effective cleaning technologies and, as a result, considerable development work. The CO2 technology “FilterMaster for trucks and more” developed by mycon forms the basis for the business segment lorry exhaust particulate filters and similar filters of every design and size.. This technology is constantly being developed. A further step to reduce cleaning time and cleaning costs while preserving maximum cleaning quality is being developed for these standard filters. This will eventually lead to the creation of a fully automated cleaning system. The goal is to produce a fully automated device with a simple mode of operation which eliminates human error almost completely. This goal has already been achieved in the form of the filter cleaning system “FilterMaster for cars“. The filters only need to be installed in the device. The entire cleaning process takes place fully automated without human intervention. The cleaning process involves compressed air to which an aerosol is added, the whole process taking no longer than a minute. The aerosol is non-poisonous and even edible, if one does not pay too much attention to the bad taste. The filter is then subsequently dried at a low temperature.
